Histology Guide teaches the visual art of recognizing the structure of human cells and tissues and understanding how it is determined by their function. This site contains more than 225 virtual microscope slides and a 100 electron micrographs for the learning human histology.
The viewer requires Adobe Flash Player to display these images. We recommend using a recent version of Firefox, Chrome or Safari browsers on a desktop/laptop. It works correctly only on Internet Explorer 9+.
Jan 2012- Laboratory exercise for "Chapter 1 - Introduction" finished. May 2012- All virtual slides listed in the slide box. Dec 2012- All virtual slides annotated with descriptions of features. Mar 2014- Index and Search functions completed.
